TRAINING FACILITY

Aurora Fire is working to create a safe place for our firefighters to train.  Phase 1 was completed in the Summer of 2019, creating a driveway and access to our property located on Ehlen Rd. There was a large pad poured to create a large area for hose deployment, equipment deployment, and for extrication and rescue practice.

Funding for this project was provided through a generous donation from one of our citizens, through savings and sale of other district property.

Although building a central station sometime in the future is not off the table. It was determined a training area was more of a priority for our firefighters at this time.
