Central Station - In Planning
The Aurora Fire District would like to build a Central Station to serve both communities of Aurora and Donald and surrounding areas from a central location. Due to the wide variety of calls for service and call locations, the Fire Chief worked with members of the District to determine the need for a central station to serve all areas of the District more equally with paid staff.
The Aurora Fire District does not have any plans to close any other stations and will continue to provide service with Volunteer Staff from both the Aurora and Donald Stations.
At this time the Aurora Fire District has acquired property in a central location on Ehlen Rd. Now we need your support to acquire funding to build a fire station. You can contact us if you have any further questions regarding this future plan by CLICKING HERE.
